EXTRAORDINARY ELK AWARD
The Extraordinary Elk Award is an award that STUDENTS choose to earn. This optional award is given out at the end of the school year to any student who has completed the requirements below and submitted an application for the award. The application is located on the back of the Extraordinary Elk page in their trash binder.
Sixth Grade Requirements
In order to be eligible for the Extraordinary Elk award, sixth grade students need to complete the following: * Students must keep data book up to date. * Students must receive no more than 1 white slip. * Pass off quarterly math vocabulary test. * Correctly identify continents, oceans, and major seas on a world map * Complete all term projects, country report, career project, book report, and participate in Reflections *Student must maintain 80% work completion. |
School Wide Requirements
In addition to the sixth grade requirements, students must also complete three of the five following school wide goals: * Student must have no more than 5 absences * Student must not have ANY office referrals * Six hours of community service * Read AT LEAST 160 days at home * Student must attend at least one school-sponsored activity YEAR-END PARTY: In order to attend our year-end party, students must earn the award. |
